Many families travel to different places during the Holidays. The kids are out of school for 3 weeks and if you are a company who works with the U.S. (which most do) work is slow because everyone there is on vacation. Instead of traveling to some exotic place, we decided to explore Singapore. We did lots of fun things over the holiday break around the island. One of which was going on the famous Singapore Flyer courtesy of Grandma and Grandpa Clayton (thank you!).
The Singapore Flyer is a major landmark in the landscape of the business district of Singapore. It's basically a huge ferris wheel, but you don't call it that - it's the Singapore Flyer. One cycle on the Flyer takes 30 minutes and you get to go inside a "capsule" and get a wonderful view of the city/country. The day we went was a little cloudy, but if it had been clear we would have been able to see Malaysia and Indonesia (we can see Malaysia from our house actually). We were lucky enough to get a capsule all to ourselves. We could see the shipyards, the floating soccer field, the business district, housing areas - it was awesome!
Wow, your life is cool!
